About the California RBS Certification

RBS Certification gives you the knowledge and skills you need to avoid the most common alcohol service violations and gives employers peace of mind, knowing they are helping to keep California safe. This RBS Certification Course requires a minimum of 2 hours of instruction and is designed to provide the alcohol server with a basic understanding of:

  • RBS Seller-Server Training Overview
  • Minors and Alcohol Sales
  • Intoxicated Persons and Alcohol Sales
  • Alcohol To-Go, Delivery and Other Permits

The course is accredited by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) and includes free audio in your choice of English or Spanish. Once completed, you can immediately download your certificate which is proof to your employer and RBS Inspector that you completed an accredited course. The RBS certification is valid for 3 years.
