Once I’ve started a course, do I have to finish right away or can I log out?

You can start and stop as many times as you need. Each time you log out, you’ll continue your course exactly where you left off when you log back in. However, you must finish the course within 90 days.

What is your Satisfaction Guarantee?

We guarantee your satisfaction of our Online Courses. If you are not satisfied, you may submit a written request for a refund to support@americancourseacademy.com within 48 hours of starting your Online Course but prior to completing your Online Course and the amount paid by you to us will be fully refunded within 3 business days.

What if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password, click the Login button in the banner above. Then click Forgot Password? You can then enter your Username and Email Address to get your password emailed to you.

What languages do you provide your courses in?

We provide all of our courses in English and Spanish.

Do you charge extra for audio?

Audio is available in our Texas Food Handler course and is included.

How long do I have to take a course?

Once we have received the course fee, you will have 90 days to complete the course.

Do I have to use the same device the whole time when taking my course online?

No, you can take your course on any device my simply logging into your account.

California RBS Certification Training Course FAQ’s

If I received a FREE certificate of course completion from American Course Academy, do I still need to take the ABC Alcohol Server Certification Exam?

Yes, you must pass your ABC Alcohol Server Certification Exam within 30 days of your confirmed training. A certificate of course completing from us does not meet the requirement for RBS certification. In other words, you must take the RBS Certification training course and the ABC Alcohol Server Certification Exam.

If the city or county where I work has specific requirements for training for alcohol servers, do I still need to be RBS certified?

Yes, you are required to be RBS Certified. Cities and counties may have additional ordinances you must comply with but do not supersede the requirement for RBS Certification.

How will I receive my California RBS certificate?

ABC does not issue physical or downloadable RBS certificates. Instead, once you complete your RBS Certification training course and pass your ABC Alcohol Server Certification Exam, your status on your dashboard on the RBS Portal will be updated to show ‘Certified’. Your Server ID number and status are located in the “Server Certificate Details” box on your server dashboard.

How long is the California RBS Certification valid?

A California RBS Certification is valid for 3 years.

Is your California RBS Certification training course approved the state of California?

Yes, our RBS Certification training course is state-approved and accredited by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Is RBS Certification training mandatory t serve alcohol in California?

Yes, RBS Certification training is required for on-premises alcohol beverage serves and their managers.

How long will the California RBS Certification Training Course take?

Generally, the course will take approximately 2 hours. We don’t have timers and you can login and logout as many times as you’d like. You can simply learn at your own pace.

Is there an Exam for the California RBS Certification Training Course?

Yes, there is a mandatory ABC Alcohol Server Certification Exam which must be taken within 30 days of your course completion. In addition, you must correctly answer 70% of the Exam questions (35 out of 50 questions) in order to pass. You are provided 3 attempts to pass the Exam.
